I started my career as a product designer, working closely with engineering and business teams to design usable, scalable digital products. Over time, my role expanded beyond design into broader ownership of product outcomes, strategy, and delivery.
I later became Head of Design at Folio3 Software, a US-based technology company with offices across seven countries. In this role, I led and scaled a team of more than 50 professionals, including product designers, UI engineers, and design leads. I was responsible not only for design quality, but also for team structure, delivery alignment, and collaboration with product and engineering leadership across multiple global client programs. I maintain a rigorous focus on continuous learning, which you can see in my Professional Certifications & Credentials.
After working closely with large enterprise clients and complex platforms, I transitioned fully into product management around seven years ago. This transition was intentional and built on my design foundation.
My background in product design has significantly strengthened my product management approach. It helps me frame problems clearly, understand user behavior deeply, and translate business goals into products that are both usable and scalable. It also allows me to bridge gaps between business, design, and engineering teams more effectively.
I have worked with global clients across North America, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia, gaining strong exposure to how product expectations, decision making, and collaboration differ across regions.
I am comfortable working with distributed teams across time zones and cultures and have led product initiatives involving multiple vendors, internal teams, and client stakeholders. This experience has been especially valuable on enterprise and government programs where alignment, clarity, and execution discipline are critical.
Alongside hands-on product work, I bring strong people leadership experience. In my current engagements, I lead and mentor small teams of product managers and product owners, supporting them across discovery, execution, and stakeholder management.
My leadership style is practical and structured. I focus on clear direction, realistic prioritization, and creating an environment where teams can focus on outcomes rather than constant reactivity.
I have worked across a wide range of organizational environments, including:
This includes long-term work with the Dubai Government, specifically within the Ports and Customs department, where I contributed to internal enterprise platforms and large-scale trading systems.
I have also worked as a contractor with Yahoo in Dubai, contributing to internal product initiatives and collaborating with globally distributed teams.
This breadth of experience allows me to adapt my approach based on organizational maturity, regulatory constraints, and business goals.
Independent, Senior, and Outcome Focused
I work as an independent senior product manager, supporting organizations in both product management and product owner capacities depending on team structure and delivery needs.
Engagements range from short-term discovery and advisory work to longer-term product leadership roles. Scope and expectations are defined upfront, with a strong focus on clarity, trust, and execution.
