AI-Enabled Digital Health and Joint Care Platform Discovery

This engagement focused on the discovery and early product definition of ArthroSync, a digital health platform aimed at improving joint care and musculoskeletal health through a connected, data-driven ecosystem. The objective at this stage was not delivery, but clarity: validating the problem space, defining the right product boundaries, and shaping a scalable platform vision before committing to build. 

From a product management perspective, the primary challenge was navigating a complex and sensitive domain. Joint health sits at the intersection of patients, clinicians, diagnostics, therapy programs, and long-term monitoring. Existing solutions were fragmented, either overly clinical or overly consumer-focused, with limited continuity of care. I led discovery to define how ArthroSync could bridge this gap while remaining compliant, usable, and clinically credible. 

The discovery work focused heavily on personas and workflows. Patients, clinicians, clinics, and supporting service providers each had different goals, constraints, and levels of digital maturity. I defined user journeys across onboarding, assessment, therapy tracking, progress monitoring, and clinician review, ensuring that data flowed meaningfully between users without overwhelming any single role. The emphasis was on trust, clarity, and continuity rather than feature density. 

AI was positioned early as an intelligence and personalization layer rather than a diagnostic authority. Product discovery explored how AI could support pattern recognition in patient-reported data, movement tracking, adherence signals, and longitudinal progress, while keeping clinicians in control of decisions. The outcome of the discovery phase was a clear product vision, modular platform structure, and phased roadmap that balanced regulatory considerations, user adoption, and long-term scalability.
